Eurasian textile sourcing project

In 2021, Asa Cameron and I established an analytical project dedicated to the development of chemical methods for ancient textile sourcing.

The current project focuses predominantly on the ongoing problem of sourcing methods for ancient processed silks derived from the domestic silk moth (Bombyx mori). Novel techniques are under experimental development in collaboration with a team of researchers based at Trent University and Harvard University.
